Cricket - Terms 1 and 4​​​​​​​

Summary: Depending on numbers, Sacred Heart College will either field their own team or team up with Napier Girls High School to make a team to play in the local secondary school competition.

Logistics: Depending on availability, transport may be arranged for students via staff in private vehicles and/or school minibuses if possible. In most cases, students are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from games.

Practice: Break 2 on the top green - Day to be confirmed.

Games: Wednesday 4 - 6.30pm – at local schools

                  Starting 22nd February - 29th March 2023

Uniform: PE gear and sport shoes. White Cricket pants may be worn if a student has their own.

Equipment: The school provides the team with cricket gear for the season, although some girls purchase their own playing equipment (thigh pads/gloves/helmet/bats).

Sports Draw: All game details are available via the Hawke’s Bay Cricket website and we have a school sports draw with all game details which is updated weekly and will be available on our school sport Facebook page, school sport website and school sport app.
