Study at Sacred Heart College
Sacred Heart College is a State Integrated Catholic College for girls from
Year 9 to Year 13. The kaupapa of Sacred Heart College is the proud
tradition of Catholic values and teachings. It provides the framework for a
curriculum that encourages self-discipline and a love of learning. The small
class sizes and nurturing environment provide all girls with opportunities
to obtain the highest personal standards of achievement. This is reflected
in the excellent results the girls of Sacred Heart College achieve in national
NCEA exams.
The Religious Education Programme is taught at all levels. It is NZQA
recognized and students achieve credits towards NCEA qualifications and
University Entrance. This subject develops the ability to critically analyse
world views, and the beliefs and views of others from different perspectives.
This is a skill that adds value to the academic development of students.
